Case 9

A patient enters the clinic for an eye examination, with a history of migraine headaches X years, diagnosed by her neurologist.  As the examination is taking place, she is in the midst of a migraine headache that has lasted for several days.  Pupil, eyelid and cocaine testing indicate the presence of Horner’s syndrome OS.  The patient returns to clinic in 3 days for hydroxyamphetamine testing, but at that point, the migraine and the Horner’s syndrome have resolved.
